Welcome to the Official Website of Emmanuela Pintus
"A living work of art..." -- Garry Bartlett, MuscleMag
Emmanuela Pintus is one of Canada's
best-known female bodybuilders, combining exquisite beauty and perfect physique
proportions.
Emmanuela's competitive career began at
the 1998 Windsor Cup BodyBuilding Championships. In the following years she became the 2000
Western Ontario Champion, the 2000 Ontario Middleweight Champion, and in
2001 she won the lightweight class at the prestigious CBBF National World Qualifier.
So quick was Emmanuela's rise that in 2002 she was the
focus of a special documentary on women's bodybuilding, produced by the television station
The Score. That acclaimed feature has aired dozens of times nationwide, making
Emmanuela one of the most recognized bodybuilders in Canada.
Emmanuela last competed in
bodybuilding in the 2003 CBBF National World Qualifier where she placed second in the
middleweight category. Weighing a clear seven pounds more than at her 2001 victory, many
felt she was in the best shape of her life. And although that competition qualified her
for the 2003 IFBB World Championships, Emmanuela knew that she still had plenty of
competition years ahead of her and the best is yet to come. Instead, Emmanuela decided to
take a short break from bodybuilding competition and concentrate on her education.
Today, Emmanuela has finished her education, she's a
registered massage therapist, and has returned to the competition stage -- but not in
bodybuilding, she's competing in figure, instead. She placed an amazing fourth at the 2004
Canadian Figure Championship (in a class of more than 25), and she placed sixth at the
2004 IFBB North American Championships. In 2005 she placed second at the 2005 CBBF
Canadian Figure Championships, narrowly missing the top spot, and in 2006 she placed
fourth in a very difficult competition.
